Brick Walls
Surrounded
Shut
Structure me in architectural
Slates of red’s browns
Slicing through me no more
Because I am hard
Solid
Stammer
Stutter
Same shit yet different
Week, month, year
And on repeat
Repeat
Sleep…
I’ll corrode
Crack
From my nostrils
And stress
From immunization
Nauseating disgust
Smash me against bones
From beaten bodies
Blaming-ly tossed
In rivers of the Ohio
For unknown
Purposes
Brick walls
That’s what we are
Hard headed
Spinal beaded
Brain deaded
Brain dead
Cracked leaded…
Into governmental
Societal disease
Distrust
