Brick Walls
She built brick walls around her breaking heart.
They were the only things that kept her from falling apart,
But then he came and knocked them down,
And left her vunerable, laying on the cold, hard ground.
But he didn't leave; he stayed right there.
He picked her up and gave her love and care.
She was a bird that was scared to fly.
He was the one that gave her the courage to try.
He was there to catch her when she fell.
And to him, her deepest secrets she did tell.
Now she doesn't need her brick walls
Because he is the one that fixes her when she falls.
He's the glue that holds her together
And she couldn't ask for anything better.
He helped her pick up the piece of her broken heart,
And now his name is stamped on the biggest part.
