At The Bridge
The insidious steel that I once believed grazed my skin actually stabbed me
Creating callouses all around me
I felt my own hideous sins grappling onto me
Its vines captivating my psyche
Again, ruminating on about last summer
When I once got callouses from playing the violin
As its swiftness carried me away
Unknwoingly destroying my innosence and unblemished finger tips
As I drowned at the bridge.
