To be who I am is no easy task

The one who sits on the side with a helpful question to ask

      "Do you need a hand?"

Those around me may need a friend, somebody to reach out,

instead of play pretend

I am real, and I am raw, my words spill out

unchanged and unfiltered,

an offering to those who need them

I am a bridge, I am the water that seeks its own level

I fill the gaps between broken friendships and broken hearts.

To those around me, I am the one you go to for advice

Because I listen and I consider,

and I tell you what you need to hear, like:

"You messed up," and "I know how much it hurts."

But, "You have to apologize," and "You need to forgive"

This is when I'm perfect.

This is when I shine.

These are the moments where I feel #flawless.

When I'm helping others to leave their troubles behind.
