Bridges Forget Their Passengers

Given the chance to kill, I know you would. Betraying   every bridge you've ever built even if it took years to make. An actual emotional connection between vacant hotel rooms thirsty for approval, craving friendship, longing for assimilation. Wanting to rid yourself of vacancy and be filled up in more than one way. Wars draw on desperate canvases wanting ro be responsible for something more than a picture but abstract feelings exposed on skin and shown with eyebrows. You push away anyone who could ever care for you even when you have no absolute reason to. Creating pixelated problems and complicated math equations that don't exist. Simple Figments of visages blurred, crowded thoughts blended with fake laughter. You kiss each person with no promise of allegience to them. What if each soldier on the battle grounds never pledged their lives soley to protect our nations soil. You only pledge to save your bones from numbing disintegration, swear to never fall, to always flee before you fail. You know one day you'll eat his heart out. You catching the chambers with watered down anguish. Cradle your weaknesses like a life preserve. hah, irony. Stuttering on your words and wither
