Glow-ups aren't just about making it out of your "awkward stage" — they're about transforming as a person, too. Let's face it, you've changed a lot as you've gotten older. That's not a bad thing; as you learn more, your perspective shifts and opinions can change. The person you are now isn't the same person you were when you were a child. What was an experience that made you realize you weren't a kid anymore, and what do you know now that you didn't know back then? Sometimes we have to go through difficult experiences that cause us to grow up. Other times we grow simply because we learn more about ourselves and the world every day. Maybe you've learned to be more tolerant of others, or gotten a better idea of the future you want to build for yourself. Or maybe you've gone from despising broccoli to "hey, this isn't half bad" (also a big step). Reflect on how your mindset has changed between childhood and now including your own internal glow-up.
