Bright Red Liquid Love
It leaves you feeling pretty hollow-
Don’t it?
It’s all white light and blue-
The window speckled with dust and frost-
Cars drive by, people pass-
Unknowing.
The birds fly and it’s beautiful.
And here I am safe and warm.
I wear black and preach peace and art and beauty.
But there are times-
There are times I want to shed this sanctuary.
And dive into the black and blood.
Revel in violence and more importantly, absolute feeling.
Sin is beauty too.
And it is decadent.
It leaves me heaving and happy and full.
Whereas piousness leaves me crying.
I cry a lot, my darling.
I like things much more than I’d admit.
Little things.
I love flesh and blood and meat and love and sin and red and sex and violence and horror and hate and dirt and earth and humanity.
Humanity is horrid.
I want to possess sin and badness.
It is beautiful and self-indulgent.
Death and Heaven are merely pretty.
I love the complementarity.
It is me most ardently.
My darker hidden side.
