As bright as the stars are they never compare

As bright as the stars are they never compare

To the bright white light surrounding your life.

I have watched this light permeate the air.

Please realize I am not the only strife.

I have watched you without any idea as to

What you wish to succeed in this lame fight.

You continue to fight. You still continue

To attempt to extinguish your bright light.

Your bright eyes are the window to my heart

But they also show themselves in my nightmares.

The warmth you lend me is only a start.

What I want is someone who truly cares.

Maybe one day you’ll understand my fears

But until then I will be with my bears.
