Bright Windows

You have a flame ablaze in you, and I in me.

I want you to shine, vitality exuding. On fire, not consumed.

Help me be this way, too?

We are built to erect each other like sandcastles;

Waves shifting in, but we are not alone against them.

Together, embrace the sun and incoming surf.

Rebuild, reinforce, reaching up, attentive to you, you to me.

Stand taller by me.

We are sandcastle neighbors, gazing above the horizon.

Eyes squinted at the soft, insistint glow we see, and in you and in me.

Sand Castles with bright windows.
