A BRIGHTER DAY
A Brighter Day
Looking up at the sky all gloomy and gray
I close my eyes and picture a Brighter Day
Rain is falling its cold and wet
A Brighter Day will come, on this, you can bet
Snow in the air and ice on the ground
Looking forward to a Brighter Day to come around
A Brighter Day. A time for the sun to shine on my face
To melt away the sadness that once took its place
Flowers growing, no more snowing, happiness in the air
Feeling full of life, and hopeful no more chill to bare
A Brighter Day, a warm breeze rolls in as spring makes its way
My soul weeps for a new season in life, and to see A Brighter Day.
