bring back the calm waters

in moments of anxiety i find myself gasping for air

as if the issue has been raised over my head and become the body of water i am desperately trying to swim out if

and if there was a story of my life this would be quite ironic purely based on the fact that i cannot swim

maybe i've been destined to drown in every issue i face

maybe i will spend the rest of my life gasping for air

maybe i am tired of trying to keep myself afloat
