Bring back life
Bring Back Life
This Art is my love
Express my love though This art
Every verse that I write
I imbed with my heart
I also give my mind and time to insure that it’s fine
BUT THEY DON’T CARE
They seem so unaware
Of the work that it took to get this all prepared
The weight on my shoulders that i seem to bear
To find the start of the art and get it back there
It’s unfair…
Its ignorant belligerent these degenerates that think of me less
what worse is these showboating worthless men by whom they're impressed
their vultures who prayed on it since before nasir claimed it dead
these vultures will hurt you take the air from your chest
like i told you
It’s unfair…
how they'd rather judge on swag
Not the message that the piece of work I displayed seemed to have had!
Not this passion for this art form I’ve seemed to have grasped!
Not the love that I shared with my art from the heart
It’s just sad
I sometimes wish that I had lived in the past
Where the artist flourished
and had the right to brag
When artist had the courage to just be their self
and fought for something like muriels’ health
in the middle of no where somewhere next to houston
passion was felt
I’m trying to resurrect this feeling
Like the son of mary himself
In my hopes to rise the culture
I might just bury myself
obsession with perfection
got me getting left
hope for change in the game
but it seems to stay the same
everyone just conformes
to what masses adorne
all the individuals lost in the swarm
unaware of the storm
still seeing sunshine
given praise to fake artist
but they don't like mine
because they know what they know
and like what they like
you only can know what you see
and cant like what you dont know
so do they really not like it
or are their eyes just stuck closed
This is all said
because of my love for the art
I’ll leave you this advice before we do part
RESPECT IT
PERFECT IT
AND NEVER NEGLECT IT
This is how you
Bring back life to this art
