Bring Me Back
Bring me back to the time I know
Where there wasn’t a care in the world to show
Bring me back to joy
Where my everlasting happiness was in you
Bring me back to the heart I know
Where I didn’t care about myself at all
Let me look up to your example
Bring me back to learning
Bring me back to love
Bring me back to who I was
Bring me back to your love
Bring me back to grace and humility
Bring me back to reality
Lord, you are the one who
Brings me back to who I once knew
Where I struggled and tried
Where no one knew me
Where I had no pride to claim
And no reputation or bit of fame
Please, bring me back to the person
Who has always been
Who has always been in you
Who realized how important you were
Bring me back to your realm and your world
Bring me back completely to you
Bring me back, Lord, bring me back
