Bring Meat

Sat, 03/12/2016 - 13:20 -- benbon

If I found myself one day

Stranded on an island alone

I would bring nothing

but maybe two things from home.

A television and netflix password

are key to releif

from the bore of an island

which must be eased.

I'd bring six guns

and pre-packaged smores.

A microwave is necesity to keep them all warm.

The rush of an ocean

the wind brushing trees

is nothing compared to

tunes on my iPhone 6 c.

I have it none

on my island alone.

Sitting hearing nothing

but my voice become sore.

If stranded on an island

thirty thousand miles from home

I'd bring white noise

to ease the fact I am alone.
