Bring on the Rain

Just like rainbows only come after rain,

We wouldn’t know joy if we didn’t know pain

But every dismal cloud has its own silver lining

And all will work out in God’s perfect timing.

The storm will pass, and the puddles will dry

And though the rain hid sad tears we cried,

Tears of joy are soon to follow-

Perhaps not today, but there is hope for tomorrow

Hope that nestles inside of our core

Hope that gives us wings to fly and to soar.
