Brisbane Abandonment

Watch Ticks

Toe Taps

Waiting to pass through gates

(Panic rising)

Shoe Slaps

Pack Pulls

Running down terminals

(Tears lurking)

Plane Leaves

Girl Arrives

Begging by desks

(None helping)

Where is momWhere are friendlyfacesWhere are familiar placesWhere am IWhere is help

Crowd Ignores

Heart Realizes

Responsibility, taken

(I am alone)

Brain clicks

Calm washes

Childlike panic, evaporated

(I am all I need)
