Broken

Becoming all too real

They're are starting to notice

The things that I don't see anymore

How can they know this

I'm not the person I was a year ago

According to the ones around me

I'm in denial though

"I haven't changed a bit" I say

"Just look closer and you'll know"

And they just turn around and mumble

To themselves as they go

Now as I look in the mirror

And see what I have become

I am not a broken person

But I'm becoming one
