Broken

My bitter thoughts had frozen my soul,

My lips are stained, with blood dried cold,

I had let out my whispered screams,

Now they echo inside my head,

My strength goes weak,

As I have fallen once more,

River of tears cuts into my flesh,

Opening up concealed wounds.

Revealing my scars,

Tearing myself apart,

I've created my own nightmare...

I stare at the white walls from my bed,

As I lay inside the monster that I created,

With the silence being the only thing left unbroken.

I will find the courage to break it,

From the cross hanging from my bedroom walls.
