Broken
We’ve all been there.
Crash and burn.
Decisions made, lessons learned.
Finding ourselves becomes a vast concern.
Life doesn’t guarantee a safe return.
Terrible choices lead to losing your way.
We try to do whatever we can,
But she hides it all away.
Sleepless nights,
Not knowing where to turn.
She’s tread through the fire,
She’s watched her ashes burn.
It tears at the insides,
She’s fallen apart.
What did to the destruction?
And when did it start?
An array of accusations, but no one to blame.
The past is a candle,
She’s putting out the flame.
