Broken

Broken, beaten, torn apart Where does one thing end and another start Blacks and blues the new set hues Turns and twists end with a fist Blood be brought, love be sought The pain so hard to bear And happiness so hard to wear Tears still fall night by night Brimming the eyes with no sight Bring me up or tear me down I’m still me, I will not drown

<p>Great poem. It is interesting how love has the power to either build you up or tear you down.</p>

<p>"I'm still me, I will not drown"</p><p>I love how simply put this is. It is hard to feel like ourselves sometimes when things go wrong in love, but we always make it back.</p>

<p>I like your poem because of the way that it relates love to "brimming the eyes with no sight." Many people can relate to this. Sometimes we are blinded by love and we are not seeing what we should be seeing. This is great. I loved this poem.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
