Broken
As the thunder roared, and lightning flashed away, his mind travelled back to that horrible day
The day those two kissed, when their lips met, It was a sorrow filled night he could never forget.
He wished he knew what had started it all, wished he could see the beginning of the fall.
Instead its too late and he keeps going down Deeper and deeper in thoughts he’ll drown.
Farther and farther he pushed away, right into another’s arms in which she could lay.
He fucked up too much and knew how it would end, the same old bull, with “we can still be friends”
The cause of his problems, what he wanted her to see, was what a sweet caring boyfriend he rly could be.
He got way too scared of losing his Love, and the jealousy she quickly grew tired of.
But she gave him a chance, a second try, Dailly he’d ask himself one question: why?
She didn’t deserve someone so stupid like him, Who always asked wat she did, where she had been.
Instead of keeping her close like he always had tried, he pushed her away, and in his heart he died.
While the other guy stayed in the back making sure she was fine, he was really just waiting, biding his time.
He knew what would happen And when she would break, all he had to do was sit there and wait.
He took Our protagonists coveted spot, But from that day on they always fought.
She often dreamt of the man from whom she had walked, and all the long nights where they stayed up and talked.
She missed him so dearly it hurt in her chest, but still she believed she did what was best.
The man grew alone, away from all others, abandoning friends that used to be like brothers.
He told her in the beginning, that she would be the only one. He kept tht promise as he suffered for what he had done.
The two hearts so close had met their end, they each lost their Love, a soulmate, a friend.
The lives they then led were never destined to be, And now I’m afraid that lonely guy might be me…
