Broken

Broken like the shattered hopes of a child

Mommy? Mom??

Please Wake up?

So vulnerable all of a sudden, like an abandoned babe

Stranded in the vase void of my mind

This place is where my thoughts have teeth

Bitting at my heals like starving wolves

Slowly tearing and ripping every piece of my existence into an absent abyss

And all of these feelings race through like a winter storm

The cold feels my soul, but i know there will be a light to warm me at the end of the tunnel

Until then i will gather my pieces and carry them with me

Down my lonely road
