Broken


First:

It was a toy,

a favorite of mine.

Fallen on the ground

sadly at rest.


Then:

it was my friendship;

Of only 10 years.

it all came to an end,

in just 10 tiny seconds.


Finally:

It was me.

Labeled by the rest of the world

over a few pieces that had fallen from their place.


So easily someone can deem another as

“BROKEN”
