Broken

On the inside, I'm sad

but on the outside, I can't afford to be.

I have to keep being happy,

for the people around me.

Do I just go on living,

Like he was never there?

He was my everything.

And he did not care.

For I am broken.

I have to be strong.

I have to keep moving.

I have to stop being sad

and keep on ruling.

Life goes on

and people keep living.

I have woken.

So I won't give up,

for I am anything

but Broken.
