Broken

You were once whole

At a point in time

What changed that broke you

Was it the days you were alone and afraid

Of what was to come of this or that

Was it the way you saw the world burn each day

Into the acid pits of hell

Was it the way your heart was crushed apon

When you needed a hug the most.

Can you tell me what was that changed you

From what I use to know

The person I truely loved.
