The Broken
Dear Fellow Humans,
I have been broken
Whether if it’s from a love disguised by Trojans
Or from mates
Who are only there for your best dates
Each group has a fallen star
Broken like the last Czar
People break everywhere
Because of hardships and from those who “care”
When I was broken before
My heart tore
It lasted for a while
And I broke more to pain’s style
It was until I found my purpose in life
And I cared for others in their personal strife
That my tears
Stopped being nightmares
I was mended
Because help was extended
How do people get fixed?
Once one knows this, they won’t hate themselves to the River Styx
The way to fix the broken
Is to help them feel like a special token
They need to know they are loved
From all, even the ones from above
They need to be empowered
So they never need to feel towered
The broken need to know they are powerful
They have the potential to be greater than Churchill
They have the ability of the 300
They are as influential as Muhammad
They are as smart as Einstein
They have souls that are sublime
Broken people need to know
That they still have an inner glow
This the broken need to show
So people can help them grow
I know the broken souls will be fixed and honed
Because the broken are never alone
All the Best,
Vinayak Pal
