Broken
Dear stranger,
You know who you are
Yes you, the one who broke me
Do not fear for I will not say your name
Actually I am still afraid
I am afraid you will appear if you hear what I say
The bruising on my body has faded away
But the bruise on my heart will forever remain
You broke me and for that I thank you
You are the reason why I am strong
I overcame my fear of being hurt
Now I have found someone different
But because you broke me
They now know the new me
I am no longer weak
But I am reserved
I am not the bubbly girl I used to be
All of this thanks to you
