Broken

She walks down the hallway

with a smile while on the inside

her emotions stretch for miles,

and when she laughs at a joke

the girl on the inside chokes,

her life is a mess but she tells

no one because she doesn't

want to cause others to stress,

so she walks down the hall,

everyday, in the same dress,

and nobody realizes she fights

a battle with the devil from day

to day, she just smiles and nods

with a simple "hey".
