Broken

we are like a broken mirror,

we see the cracks of our past

but we look into the still pieces to perceive our future.

we could be a broken wall,

but the sun would shine bright through our cracks.

thunderstorms may come,

but soon enough to be evicted.

flowers bloom in every corner.

just capture such majestic craft!

we both had our share of broken promises.

revoked the essence of happiness within ourselves.

expectations fantasized yet puzzles our transcendental mindset.

we could build a wall around our hearts

so it can’t be broken by charm,

but the recurring interest for love

is a set up for more aching souls.

question is,

do we love just to be broken?
