Broken

Broken dreams cloud her mind;
memories that never seem to fade.
She searches but will never find;
this is what her past has made.
A mind that races,
a soul that dances,
and a heart that will be forever lacking.
Looking at a starless sky;
her mind will not cease.
Will she ever learn to fly?
Will she ever find peace?
A mind that races,
a soul that dances,
and a heart that will be forever lacking.
Tearless cries
full of lies
she just sighs,
she is broken.
