Broken

Screaming to the void, it's all I have left

But losing my voice and running out of breath

Nothing seems to work to fill the hole inside my chest

I must distract myself from the noises in my head

I'm broken.

Shattered little pieces are scattered on the floor

I try to pick them up, though I'm not sure what for

Memories are faded and I'm feeling insecure

I wish that I was normal, I can't take it anymore!

I don't want to die, but I barely feel alive

It takes everything I have just to survive

Day to day struggles while I'm drowning in my mind

I'm looking for myself, but I'm so damn hard to find
