Broken

Broken She sat quietly in the room Tears flowed, a broken smile Feeling lonely, unloved, ugly Her heart now is defiled He left her with fear in her heart Thinking she was in love He used her then left her, alone Now she is a hurt dove She trusted him with everything As butterflies fluttered His intentions were wrong, vicious As he spoke thoughts cluttered Tears flew from her eyes, her heart churned Unbelieving this dream One lesson learned within this game Love is not as it seems
