Broken

He called me downstairs From his big, brown chair He sat me down He started to frown He knows I care About the well-beings here But this information Caused a situation The shhh sound it made As the broken parts laid His tears had then shed My laughter he led I laughed at his story Then told him, “I’m sorry” But the things he told me I should’ve foreseen He had put on some weight Not expecting change He thought there was no chance He’d ever rip his pants
