Broken to Beautiful

Broken to Beautiful

This world is

Broken

Sadness

Floats the air like smoke from a cigarette

Depression

Icing hearts making them stiff and unaware

Anxiety

Filling the shaky hands of those whose who can’t sit still

Anger

Lies in the clenched teeth and red faces

Shame

As real as what put it there in the first place

Yet beauty peeks through

Happiness

like your a child opening presents on christmas morning

Peace

As if calming waters are splashed over your body

Joy

filling the hearts of people making them feel genuine

Love

Glistening from their eyes with an indescribable sparkle

Passion

Stirring in their souls that's never ending

Were all a little broken

But a lot of beautiful
