Broken Child

A disorder to you, but to me? Not so much
It’s more like my miracle, my helpful crutch
In my eyes it’s a wonderful cure
The more I do it, the more I feel secure

You've twisted me up inside
Viciously broken my fragile mind
Even though you created the problems
It’s still up to me to solve them

Told so often that i'm fat
Yet forced to eat the grease you cooked
Eventually my confidence just snapped
All because you had to tell me how to look

So everytime I can't help but eat
Knowing the more empty I’ll get
When I lift up my trusty toilet seat
The weaker I feel the inevitable regret

I’m broken up inside,
please untwist my mind
Problems I try to dissolve
reappear as if never resolved
