Broken Days

Don't hurt me

You mean everything to me

I love you.

The same words that repeat each time the glass shatters more

Blood boiling

Frustration overbears our bodies

I wanna scream

You wanna talk

I wanna cry

You wanna comfort me

I need a break

What's the point?

I need to think

Talk to me

Same words repeating each time glass shatters more

You're mad at the typing words being said

I'm mad at the issues

You're upset at the way I process

I'm upset you don't understand

It lasts for a couple of days

it lasts for a  couple of hours

it lasts for a couple of minutes

It doesn't last

In the end, we love but the glass remains in the open wounds waiting to be triggered.
