broken family

I come from a father not living with me, A brother who looks down on me. From a place no one wants to be, I come from a broken family. I come from fighting and yelling, From arguments quite compelling. No one wants to be right here, With a broken family and a tear. This broken family is sometimes good, Occasionally it works the way it should. I still want to be over there, In the family without the tear. As I sit over here, With myself and my tears, I’ve written this poem, But I’m too scared to show ‘em. They’ll judge me much more, I’ll be beaten to the floor. Because expressing myself Is bad for my health. So I sit in my room, Awaiting my doom. Tonight it ends for me. I’m leaving this broken family.
