Broken Family

We are a broken family,

So don't try to pretendta ht we're not

There's always something wrong

When we go out together

There's always someone missing

When we're seatedat  the table

There's always someone shouting

When we begin to talk

There's always someone hurting

When we come home atthe  end of the day

There's always someone crying

When we go to bed at night

There's always been cracks and bent angles

In our family circle

We're held together by strings and necessity

But when both finally fail,

What will become of my sister?

What will become of my parents?

What can we do to stop this schism

When love and false hope doesn't bond anymore?

Auré

I'm just a tomboyish girl taking on the world one day at a time. I believe in making life count, doing your best, being yourself, and inspiring others.
