Broken girl

Broken girl why were you placed into a world so unsure and defeat

You shiver in the cold but smile when it leaves a satisfying beat

Broken girl spent her life overlooking what was deep inside of her

She sings a melody but frowns as her superior reflects her dreams are a blur

Broken girl hides herself and watches her spirit become lost in the bliss

I was here when broken girl was born, but she was never broken to me.

She comes to me with every emotion hoping to escape and to flee

When she cries I turn to melodies soothing and filling

She smiles and joins in fully willing

When she is happy I turn to a melody full of joy

She dances and screams like a child handed a toy

I see her spirit still dancing as it was never lost into the bliss

Broken girl is tired of being broken

With music broken girl has awoken

Overpowered with melodies that never left her head

She goes and live her dream not listening to what her superior said

Broken girl who is suddenly outspoken smiles

She realizes music has been with her for a while

Music helped bring broken girl out her shell

She realizes music knows her quite well

She will now live her life happy because of music, and oh she will live it well
