A broken heart

From my heart you broke out of Took with you my love You simply had walked away And left me to be drained of all my blood What was I supposed to do? How was I to react? I had no legs to follow you Nor did I have the strength to attack You were supposed to be my friend Even though I wanted you to be my lover After you ran away I could never love another with my heart torn in pieces And the wound split open I had no choice but to forget you And the world you had broken So here I stand With my heart ripped from my chest And all this love bleeding from my breast.
