A Broken Heart

and so i screamed

i screamed until my lungs

couldn't take it anymore

my eyes were red

my cheeks covered in tears

i didn't know how to get over

this kind of pain

i wanted him

i needed him

my heart yearned for nothing

but him

not knowing what to do

or what to say

i cried to myself

until i fell asleep

just so i could do

the same thing

tomorrow
