Broken Life

I sat at the corner of confusion and pain Trying to scrub out the everlasting blood stain I began to feel dizzy and my arms were wearing out Tears ran down my face and I wanted to shout But I knew no one would hear my cries Or acknowledge my never ending sighs The hole in my heart began to leak again And I wanted to faint from the loss of oxygen I hated the world and all the men in it For breaking my heart and spinning on it Why couldn’t he just love me without demands And stop wondering where he could put his hands The only thought he had was to get into my pants And complained that I went on too many rants He lied continuously without remorse Telling me that all of it was part of the course I had this addiction to him I couldn’t ignore For some reason I kept going back for more But then he left me at the corner of confusion and pain With nothing but an everlasting blood stain
