Broken Light

I'm like a broken light Trying to shine in the dead of night Tears stream down my face Like glass they hit the floor I'm trying to step into the light Before someone closes the door Nobody's here to make me smile I'm all alone, have been for a while I'm a loner, I walk the streets alone Nowhere to go, no place to call home What good am I to anyone 'Cause even when I try with all my might I am and always will be a broken light
