Broken Love

I visualized us together.

Me with you forever.

Forsake me, you would never.

What we had was more than treasure.

You were my first love.

You were as gentle as a dove.

We fit together like a glove.

I thought it was true love.

Somehow maybe I was wrong.

Your words still echo like a gong.

Before, it was such a sweet song.

Maybe we just don't belong.

My heart is broken.

And those words you have spoken

But me, I have awoken.

Broken love, boy you've spoken.
