broken love

If i had a penny for every time you said "I love you" I would be banking with at least a million and two. But if I had one for every time you meant it I wouldn't even have a single cent. When you say "I love you" you always look away When you try to be romantic your words just go astray. But now I'm done with love and all it offers I just want to live alone until I'm a scholar. Love between us wasn't harmony But something that was never meant to be. I gave my heart to you and you fed it lies And that is the single thing I really despise. If you even think our love sustains Just move on because nothing between us remains.

I want to live out my life for the people who will express theirs. I am utterly gracious to know people in this world who are braver than I am. And for that I applaud you.
