A broken Memory-A lost Soul
She walks right by and he doesn't even know,
the woman he's passing by is a woman he let go.
She looks into his eyes and for a quick moment she's surprised,
his eyes are filled with pain, and she quickly wonders why.
She asks herself if he remembers the pain he put her through,
or the memories they shared, centuries ago.
You see,
these people were never strangers,
they were each other's wonder wall.
In a moment, that all changed.
Their love faded away.
They started to slip.
She put out her hand.
He turned his head and that was it.
Every night as she closes her eyes, questions fill her mind.
She wonders what she did, and if she could have prevented it.
Years have passed and so had he.
She looks down at the man she use to know, and cries,
"Why did you do this to me?"
I was here all along.
Waiting day by day
Hoping you would see the light
and praying you'd come back to me.
Now i'm here all alone, with nothing but
A broken memory
