Broken messages

Alone I feel together but together I feel alone. Why is it only through text that your love is shown? Am I just an embarrassment called by a different name? Or is it because you know my heart but don't feel the same? In public your touch is like a dagger of ice Your eyes pierce through me with a quick slice. In private it's like you give a silent I need you cry Your words are smooth and like a fox, are very sly. But in your text you speak true thoughts You give me bits and pieces and tell me to connect the dots. I'm becoming broken just to understand you But it doesn't seem you care, but then again you never do.
