The Broken Musician

she sits, wide eyed and sincere

wondering if that she could be

the beauty of heart so severe

unaware of love then not free

she met hardships in learning anew

ignorant of all she must give

though a new way to heal way due

lest she not keep her cause to ive

he music flowed, shaking her ground

she now knew love like no other

relishing in comfort now found

unbeknowst of its knack to smother

she excelled, he pride knew no end

given to her was the cheers of crowds

here her confidence would amend

but now tells lies like thunderclouds

she enters hopeful and proud

then torn down and deemed unworthy

to leave this was what she now vowed

wanting to begin lifes next journey
