Broken Promises
You promised you would be there, Be my protector, But you left me alone, Wandering, searching, scared. How do I find my way back now? Where do I go, which way. You abandoned me, When I needed you the most. Now I have been alone a while, You’re too late, but no guilt sets in. I am strong now, so, Don’t come back. You’re just like the others, Fake, selfish, and a liar. I don’t need you now or ever again, I am all alone and happy. You promised you would be there, Be my protector, But you left me alone, Wandering, searching, scared, no more.
