Broken Spirit

You can not feel my pain. My deepest sorrows are the same. My pain is your pleasure; my thoughts are your dream. You’re like a never ending shadow forever around me. But alas, I am unseen. I am cast behind the shadow of your shadow in a never ending dream. My pain is what you love. My tears are like your loveliest dream. The darkness and shadows forever surround me. There is no light at the end of the tunnel. There is only pain and hopeless dreams. You love to prey on the weak because it makes you strong. You love me because I am forever broken . And with this last dying breath I say “I am not the shadow on your wall, but a broken little girl, damaged and all”
